Summoner’s Showdown Information

Summoner Showdown Seasons
New Seasons will be introduced monthly with custom character and gear requirements to be able to participate in the Showdown Events. During the course of a Season, there will be multiple Showdown Events available, where different pools of characters from the Seasonal roster will be required. Play in each individual Showdown Event to climb the ranks and earn rewards. Keep playing in each event in the Season to raise your score for the Seasonal Leaderboard, and earn BIG rewards. The Seasonal Leaderboard can be found in the Events section.

Characters
The full roster of usable characters will rotate with each Season. Each event will require a smaller list of characters from the Seasonal roster. You do not need to own every character to participate, but will need to have at least (5) characters that qualify for the event, own at least (2) spells, and meet the minimum gear and star requirements.

Characters will award different point value bonuses when used in battle during the Season. Look for the characters with the bonus icon.

Character Bolster
With each Showdown Event a Bolster threshold may go into effect. As long as your characters meet the minimum requirement to enter the event, once in battle all character Star and Gear Tiers may be upgraded to the designated Bolster threshold, in order to move closer toward leveling the playing field for all players. Bolster behavior may change across each Showdown Event.

Stamina Potions
Each character will be able to battle a specific number of matches before they go into cooldown and require Stamina Potions. Stamina Potions can be earned throughout the game in Daily Quests, Exchanges, and more. Players who do not have enough Stamina Potions can refresh their characters for gems, and the cost will increase per refresh. There is also a limit on how many times each individual character can be refreshed per Showdown Event.

The Season 01 character refresh limit will be 10, and is subject to change with each season.

Event Battle Phases
During each Showdown Event there will be short battle phases throughout each day when you can play your PvP matches. Enable push to get notified when a battle phase is starting.

7:00 AM – 10:00 AM PT

7:00 PM – 10:00 PM PT

Since this is a real-time PvP Event, these focused times are designed to bring more players together into PvP battles and intended to accommodate as many players as possible. These times and durations will continue to be monitored and are subject to change in the future.

Battle Score
Points are earned by completing battles during the Event Battle Phases in each Showdown Event. Points are awarded at the end of each battle, and can be earned for:

Completing a Battle

Winning a Battle

Number of Surviving Characters

Number of Characters Defeated

Battling with Bonus Point Characters

Points will contribute to the active Showdown Event, and the Seasonal Leaderboard.

Additional points are awarded based on the state of character progression before they are Bolstered

Tie Breakers
If a round ends and neither team has been defeated, a tie breaker will be determined based on:

Number of surviving non-summoned characters

If number of surviving non-summoned characters is the same, the team with the highest remaining Health percentage for non-summoned characters
